Where we live shouldn’t be a barrier to accessing high quality care which is why the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) created the Command Centre - the latest innovation in country health care, bringing together new and existing services in a 24/7 virtual clinical hub. In August 2022 WACHS celebrated 10 years since the first patient in country WA accessed the Emergency Telehealth Service (ETS). The ETS has been embraced for its ability to bring a wide range of healthcare specialties to even the most remote areas. In this webinar we will learn about the six functions of the Command Centre, its origins and implementation, the benefits for patients and the community, and learnings from Medical Director -Dr Justin Yeung and the team from the WACHS Command Centre.
